As a BACPR-qualified trainer, I offer personalised support outside of my group work at MKCCG — where we help people living with heart and lung conditions. Together, we will build strength, confidence, and peace of mind — one session at a time.

Risk factors are things that increase your chance of developing heart disease, stroke, or other health issues. Some you can’t change — like your age, gender, family history, or ethnic background. These are called non-modifiable risks. Others you can influence through lifestyle and, sometimes, medication. These are modifiable risks, and they include: - Smoking - High cholesterol (hyperlipidaemia) - High blood pressure (hypertension) - Physical inactivity - Obesity - Type 2 diabetes - Excess alcohol - Psychological factors (like stress) Understanding your risk is the first step.
